This demonstration will show the process of rating a shipment that requires an accessorial fee such as a lift gate.
- Begin by entering the Zip Codes for the origin and destination cities
- Use the drop down box to select the appropriate class of your product
- Enter the total weight of the shipment
- Select “Add Service”
- This will open up a drop down menu of available services
- Select the desired service by utilizing the drop down menu
- Select the “Search” button to proceed to the next page
- View all of the carrier rates that are available for your shipment!
- The rates are sorted based on the most cost effective carrier.
- The rates include the freight charge, fuel surcharge and also the fee for the one accessorial service selected.
- This section displays the carrier name, shipment price, approximate transit time and total miles.
